BAYAHIBE AND LA ROMANA the location of this dive shop does not get much closer to perfection.
In addition to the wall and aquarium at Catalina there is also a chance to explore the St. George Wreck. Propelled by the currents, divers drift by like puppets on strings, but the imperfect conditions only add to an overall impression of richness and looming secrets yet to be unraveled. La Raya is also at Catalina Island and is great for photographers who want to get up close to their subjects while lying flat on the bottom. At 48 feet, there are many isolated coral heads on a fine sand substrate. this is a haven for angelfish, parrotfish and moray eels.
Guaragao is located right in front of Coral Canoa Hotel. You're on a very long patch of reefs at 40 feet deep, surrounded by sand and coral abundant with brain coral and lots of tubular sponge, tropical fish and the occasional sand eel
JUAN DOLIO. Here you can explore the Tanya Wreck, a 100-foot freighter sunk in 1998 at a depth of 75 to 100 feet. This is home to many barracudas, gray jack and moray eels. You can also dive on the Gabriella Wreck at 45 to 60 feet. This 50-foot steel tug has now become home to large schools of grunts, goatfish, glass-eye snappers and squirrels. Great for photography! Three other good sites in Juan Dolio include The Canyons, Benji's Reef and The Gardens. They are all within 10 minutes of the dive center and range from 30 to 75 feet. find sponge laden coral reefs, sea fans and a superb variety of fish.
Sea Pro Dive. This is our favorite discovery, a beautiful gradual slope going from 30 to 130 feet, featuring all types of corals, sponges and fans, and of course, an endless variety of fish. Ten minutes from shore.
